ABOUT
We are a growing network of psychologists in Ireland who are interested in applying the principles and evidence of psychology to policy and political action.

PSC Ireland started in 2019 when a few of us came together with concerns about how structural inequalities such as the housing crisis, Direct Provision and the global climate crisis, were impacting on the psychological health on people living in Ireland. We aim to move psychologically informed discussion into the public sphere to inform public and policy debates.
We are not a membership organization, but rather a network of individuals, who share similar aims in bringing evidence based psychological knowledge to inform actions on social policy. We are aligned with the UK PSC network.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month. In line with current restrictions our meetings are currently virtual and open to all psychologists who would like to become more involved in considering how psychology may effect change in policy and public action.
